The book has a government in it that is ruled by the wealthy royals and the lower classes are looked down upon for being lower class. The government also is very corrupt and unjust to the lower classes, making it tough for them to become part of the government and hard for them to survive without the protection that the people of the government get. Without the protection the lower classes are not as helpful as they can be in the government. So there is only a few people ruling over a lot making for easy decisions. There are also a lot of royal family's that are partially shunned.
I personally would hate to live in such a crazy society. I would push myself to the top of society and would never look back. I hate when people look down at people and think that they are better than everyone else because they were born in to a better invorment. I personally think people in lower classes work harder than people in the upper class but still dont make as much as the upperclass.
Would you want to live in a society where the upperclass walk all over what you have worked your whole life on?Because I know I wouldn't.
